Kenneth Vernon Knapp Minimize

Kenneth Vernon Knapp, 75, was born July 4, 1936 in Gustine, TX, the son of Marshall Vernon and Ina (Johnson) Knapp.  He passed away December 11, 2011 in Oklahoma City.

Kenneth was a long-time employee of and retired from Rocketdyne/Hercules, Inc.  He was an avid outdoorsman and lived life to the fullest.

Kenneth is survived by daughters, Susan Gibbons and husband Loyd of Plano, TX and Melinda Henson and husband Keith of Yukon, OK; grandchildren, Sierra Gibbons, Meagan Henson and Keagan Henson; brother, Joe Knapp; and sisters, Sandra Kay Hail and Leana Land.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Bono Baptist Church in Godley, TX.  Interment will be private.

Comments:To the Knapp family, We moved to McGregor and was welcomed with open arms by "Uncle Kenneth and family". I will miss his hunting and fishing stories. Those were the best of times.
