Justin Ryan Lassiter Minimize

Justin Ryan Lassiter, 28, was born May 9, 1983 in Oklahoma City.  He passed away December 25, 2011 in Oklahoma City.

Justin began his earliest years in Mustang and later moved to Yukon. This is where Justin would spend most of his life. He was a promising young man, excelling in the classroom and earned many school honors. He was also a member of a gifted club called Odyssey of the Mind throughout most of his school years. Justin was very talented with computers and really enjoyed doing technical work during his life. He had such a kind, gentle heart that always wanted to see everyone around him happy. He was so giving with his emotions often forgetting about his own joy and fulfillment that we all long for as human beings. He would try to make you smile on your worst days, and was always there to listen. Justin was loved by so many and will always be in our hearts.
He is survived by his loving parents, Deresa Moyer Lassiter of Yukon and Lance and Valerie Lassiter of Oklahoma City; his grandparents, Betty and Frank Moyer of Yukon and Robert and Ladonne Lassiter of Edmond; his brothers, Jeremy of Yukon and Erick and Keegan of Oklahoma City; and one sister Lauren of Yukon; along with numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Justin’s name to the Yu-Can Coalition, addressed to Kent Mathers at Yukon High School.
A rosary vigil will be held at 1:30 p.m., followed by a funeral
Service at 2p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2011 in the Yanda & Son Funeral Home chapel.  Interment will follow at Yukon Cemetery.
