Comments:I met Alma in 1979 when she oriented me to the CCU at Baptist Medical Center. We have been friends for the past 30 years, working together at BMC, participating in the local chapter of critical care nurses, attending workshops together, and seeing each other through our doctoral programs. This is a bittersweet time for me because I am glad that Alma does not have to suffer anymore but I will miss her. She has been a big part of my life.
