At Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Inc., our family has been serving yours for 50 years. We are committed to you and your personal preferences as we work together to design funeral or cremation services that you desire. Our experience has shown us that most families select one of the following services, each of which can be personalized to meet your wishes.

Traditional Funeral Service with Visitation and Burial

This is the most commonly selected package that we offer and includes services of funeral director, administrative staff, professional staff for coordinating, personalizing, and directing the funeral service, preparation and filing of legal documents, and other paperwork necessary to complete the arrangements: removal from the place of death to the funeral home; embalming and sanitary care of the remains; dressing, casketing, cosmetizing; use of facilities for visitation; use of the facilities for the service or set up at a church or other location; automotive equipment including funeral coach and service van; graveside service.

Graveside Funeral Service

This option includes everything listed above and may include visitation followed by graveside funeral services instead of funeral services at the funeral home, church, or other location.

Cremation Choices

Cremation provides an alternative to traditional funeral services yet still allows the option of visitation and funeral services should they be selected.  Options for the cremains from the human remains include burial, scattering of the cremains, placement in an urn to be kept at home, or placed in a columbarium niche or other location.

Full Service Followed By Cremation

This option includes everything listed above and can include visitation with funeral services at the funeral home, church, or other location followed by cremation.

Direct Cremation

Is the simplest form of disposition, and includes no viewing, ceremonies or rites. It may take place only after obtaining a permit from the medical examiner.

Cremation With Memorial Service

This choice includes the Direct Cremation, but also offers a memorial service. (Does not include viewing unless additional services are added.)
