Life Legacy
June Lavada Ransom, 86, was born June 6, 1926 in Cedar Rapids, IA. She passed away February 27, 2013 in El Reno, OK.
June enjoyed her many past times, which included sewing, playing pool, drawing and collecting beautiful things. She was an excellent cook. In the 70's and 80's, June lived in Oklahoma City and owned two night clubs, The Attic and June's. She lived in San Diego for 22 years before moving back to Oklahoma City in 2008 to be near her family.
June is survived by her daughters, Gina Nicholson of El Reno and Deborah Nelson and husband Eugene of Yukon; sons, Mark Ransom and Mike Ransom and wife Beverly, all of Oklahoma City; 12 grandchildren, including Shae Ransom, Andrea Combs, Jackie Nelson, Stephen Nelson and Jason Nelson; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
