Anita Morgan

Anita Morgan, age 67, was born on August 9, 1956, in La Marque, TX, to Jim and Doretta Morgan. She passed away on May 1, 2024, in Oklahoma City, OK.

Anita was an artist who loved to paint, crochet and color. She also liked to play cards and dominos. Anita loved her family and her animals. She stepped up as an elder when it was needed. Anita served in the United States Air Force as a jet engine mechanic. After her service in the military, she worked in warehouses. She was a fighter right up until the end. Anita was loving, caring, and a teacher who loved to learn new things. She loved to make people smile.

Anita was preceded in death by her mother Doretta Morgan; father Jim Morgan; stepmother Oneta Morgan; and brothers Don Allen Morgan, Johnny Norris, Jimmy Norris, and Jerry Norris.

She is survived by her daughters Leslie Stephens and Jessica Munoz; grandsons Trey Amos, John Combs, Alex Berry and Aydon Wendt; brother Jimmy Morgan; sister Jolene Norris Todd; stepmother Lynnie Morgan; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be at Yanda and Son Funeral Home on Monday, May 6, 2024, between the hours of 1:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held at the Yanda and Son Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Yukon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to be applied towards the purchase of a headstone.
