Apolinar Mata Hernandez

After a life of love, hard work, and devotion to his family, Apolinar Mata Hernandez finished his journey here on earth on Monday, September 15, 2025.

Apolinar was a stoic and hardworking man, whose life was defined by dedication to his family. Though quiet in his ways, his love was always evident in the sacrifices he made and the example he set.

For many decades, he shared his life with his beloved wife, Luz, building a marriage rooted in love, perseverance, and family. Her steadfast presence was his greatest blessing.

Family was at the center of everything Apolinar did. He took pride in providing for his loved ones and teaching them the importance of unity and resilience. Those who knew him will remember his steady presence, his deep loyalty, and the love he showed not just through words but through action.

He is survived by his wife, Luz; his sons, Refugio and Eder; his sister, Maria Luisa; his cherished grandchildren, Celia, Anai, Isabel, Anthony, Akira, and Hikaru; and his many great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Yazmin; his parents, Refugio and Mercedes; and siblings who went before him, with whom he is now reunited.

Apolinar leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and family values that will continue to guide and inspire those who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery.
