Arissa Faith Dieu

Arissa Faith (Coody) Dieu, age 37 was born into this world on June 30th, 1986 in Ada, OK to Paula Marie (Coody) Lambert and Franklin Andy Coody, Jr. She was called home into the loving arms of our heavenly Father on October 1st, 2023 in Newalla, OK.

At the time of her passing she was attending EOC in Choctaw, OK to obtain her Accounting Degree, as her dream was to open a beautiful sober living community where all who needed it would be welcomed. Most importantly she was a wonderful mother to her three little loves.

Arissa was kind, giving, loving, and a light to all who had the opportunity to know her. She was at her very happiest when surrounded by all of her family. She didn't just have a love for sports, it was more of a passion. Although she excelled at most everything she tried, softball was her life both growing up and through high school. Her competitive nature told her second place in anything was never an option. She passed that very nature to her children and often said she could never get enough of watching them do what they loved. She rarely missed an OU football game with her Mama.

Arissa was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was baptized at Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa, OK by her uncle Faren Coody in 2010.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin Tyler Dieu; father, Franklin Andy Coody, Jr. of Ada, OK; grandmothers, Wanda Jo Biggs of Sasakwa, OK and Louella Mae Jesse of Ada, OK; aunt, Linda Vantassel of Asher, OK; cousins, Faryss Coody of Maud, OK and, father-in-law, Wylie J. Dieu of Oklahoma City, OK.

She is survived by her 3 children, Devynn Mae Zumpfe, Franki Rae Dieu, and Kannon J Dieu of the home; mother, Paula Marie Lambert and husband Bobby of Newalla, OK; sister, Kelli Marie Lopez and husband Manny of Piedmont, OK; brothers, Jesse James Robert Vantassel of Yukon, OK and Joshua Andrew Demoain Vantassel of Choctaw, OK, Jesse Wayne Lambert of Newalla, OK and Dustin Thomas Lambert and wife Anissa of Oklahoma City, OK; aunt, Terri Hoffman and husband Andrew of Yukon, OK; uncle, Faren Coody and wife Ruby of Maud, OK; uncle, Ca-te Jesse of Ada, OK; aunt, Franchina McFerran and husband Jeff of Sasakwa, OK; mother-in-law, Joni Menton of Oklahoma City, OK, and sisters-in-law, Ashlee Dieu of Yukon, OK, and Chelsea Hickerson and husband Justin of Kingfisher, OK, Robert Jack Biggs, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends all of whom she loved with her whole heart.

Arissa is and will always be sorely missed by all, but she rested in knowing God as her heavenly father and Jesus as her lord and savior. Her faith has always been an inspiration to many.

"She came in as a little lion, but left as a lamb of God".

Her life will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 9, 2023 at Trinity Baptist Church, Yukon, OK, with interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, OK.
