Barbara Lee Donnelly

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Donnelly, a woman whose life overflowed with love and kindness. Barbara had a unique gift for caring for strays and injured animals, transforming her home into a sanctuary for those in need. Her dedication to volunteering at Pets and People in Yukon reflected her lifelong commitment to making the world a better place.

Barbara's spirit shone brightly in her role as one of the first members of the Richland Fire Department. Her bravery and dedication touched the lives of everyone she worked with and left an indelible mark on the community she served.

Barbara's love for the outdoors was evident in the joy she found in simple pleasures, like spending time with friends and neighbors in their cul-de-sac. Her warm smile and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Barbara leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her brother, David Harrod and his wife Lorraine, as well as her children Jason, Jolene, and Mercedes. Her legacy also lives on through her sons Shawn and his wife Veronica, Scott and his wife Amber, and their daughters Kamille and Karsyn.

To honor Barbara's love for springtime and flowers, we ask that you come to her memorial service dressed in your favorite non-formal spring colors. Let's celebrate her vibrant spirit and the beautiful impact she had on our lives.

Serving as pallbearers will be Scott & Shawn Donnelly, Jake Henkes, Gary McKaig, David Housh, and George Canizales.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, February 28, 2025, at St John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Yukon, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Frisco Cemetery, Yukon, OK.
