Bette Zwiebel, 91, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 28, 2026, with her daughter by her side. Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Bette graduated from Capitol Hill High School before moving to Dallas, Texas, to pursue a career as a flight attendant.

On April 29, 1961, she married Gerald Pevehouse, Jr., beginning a life together that took them to many different cities across the United States. Their years together were filled with travel, new experiences, and family.

Following Gerald’s passing in 1983, Bette returned to Oklahoma City to be closer to her family. She later met and married Larry Zwiebel, with whom she shared many years until his passing on July 11, 2012.

Bette spent 17 years working at Abide Realtors before dedicating several years to volunteering at Yukon Integris Hospital, where she generously gave her time in service to others. She was also a member of Crossings Community Church. In her later years, when she was no longer able to attend in person, she continued to enjoy watching the services online.

Above all, Bette cherished her family. She was an incredibly loving, funny, and generous mother to Page and Chris. Bette loved to laugh, have fun, and enjoy the lighter side of life. Her wonderful sense of humor, warm heart, and generous spirit brought joy to those around her. She especially treasured time with her children, grandchildren, and extended family, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.

Bette was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald Pevehouse, Jr. and Larry Zwiebel; her parents, Agnes and Henry Harris; her sister, Jo Rodman; and her brother, Charles Harris.

She is survived by her daughter, Page Pevehouse; her son, Chris Pevehouse, and his wife, Melissa; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Van Hoy, Morgan and Lane Miller, and Matthew Pevehouse; and her great-grandson, Luke Miller.

She is also survived by her sister, Sandi Harris, and her family, Brooklyn Barnett and Daniel Goodwin, and their daughter, TreAna. Her extended family includes nieces and nephews Patti Rodman and Christine Cleary, and their children, Lindsay, Shawn, and Noah; Donna Ledbetter and her daughter, Jennifer; Janie and Rob Whitaker; Chuck Harris; Curt and Molly Harris, and their son, Boston Harris; Ces Vorse, her children, Christy and Craig DeLano, and her grandchildren, Cy and Charlie; and Brad and Joannie Harris.

Bette will be remembered for her loving heart, generous nature, wonderful sense of humor, and her love of laughter and fun. She brought warmth and joy to the lives of those around her and leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of love that will be treasured by her family and all who knew her.
