Betty "June" Calahan

Betty "June" (Krshka) Calahan was born on June 6, 1931 on the family farm in Yukon, Oklahoma. She passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025. She was pre-deceased by her husband, of 62 years, Charles V. Calahan.  She is survived by her son, Michael Calahan and wife JoEllen Krantz, of Park Ridge, Illinois, and her daughter Julia Calahan-Mason and husband Michael Mason, of Mustang, Oklahoma. She is survived by four grandchildren:  Matthew Mason (Elizabeth), John Mason, Jenny Calahan, and Luke Calahan, and one great granddaughter, Eleanor Mason, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by her father, Anton; mother, Mary; brothers, Frances, Albert and Clyde; and sisters, Bernice Keller, Elsie Hanska, Marguerite Baker and Dorothy Kastl.  A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
