Betty Dawn Thederahn

Betty Dawn Thederahn, age 78, of Yukon OK passed away on June 12, 2025.

She was born January 15, 1947 in Lawton, OK to Merl McNeil and June (Hanks) Husted. Betty graduated from NW Classen in 1965. She was a beautician for many years.  She worked decades in retail. Lastly, a hostess at Lucky Star Casino. She loved all people and enjoyed working with the public, as she never met a stranger.

Betty was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and loyal friend. She was the heart of the family, as she raised 3 children and fostered many. She was known for her big laugh that filled a room. She was kind, funny, loving, and full of joy. She was a big personality in a small package. Her love and laughter will live in the hearts of all that knew her.

Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenneth McNeil.She is survived by her son Randy Thederahn (wife Faith), son Terry Thederahn (wife Mori), and daughter Tammy Mickle (husband Billy); grandchildren Nathan, Britney, Kyle, Tanner, Cody, Tyler, Sienna, Charlie, Kristopher, Braden, and Brooklyn and many great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2025 at the funeral home. Her life will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 21, at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, with interment following at 3:00 p.m., at Highland Cemetery, Lawton, OK.
