Beverly Jolene Wolf

Beverly Jolene "Bevie Jo" Wolf passed away peacefully at home on December 16, 2024.

Born Beverly Jolene Spencer to Bud and Josie Spencer in Oklahoma City on October 6, 1952. Bev graduated from Southeast High School in 1970 and soon after began her career at Dayton Tire Company. Bevie demonstrated her physical strength by becoming the first female tire builder at Dayton, where she continued working until her retirement. She also played on Dayton's Women's Softball Team during her time there.

While working at Dayton Tire, Bev met Ronald Wolf, and they married on July 22, 1978, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oklahoma City. Bev and Ron shared 46 loving years together, during which they enjoyed cheering on the Cowboys, deer hunting, visiting the Donk Dude Ranch, and cultivating beautiful vegetable gardens.

Bev was a devoted member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, where she enjoyed volunteering with the Meals on Wheels program for several years.

Bev is preceded in death by her husband, Ron Wolf, and her parents, Bud and Josie Spencer.

She is survived by her brother, Steve Spencer and wife Toni of Oklahoma City, OK; sister-in-law, Rosalie Griffin and husband Bill of Atlanta, Texas; sister-in-law, Jeanette Haley of Chandler, OK; brother-in-law, Tom Wolf and wife Sue of Newkirk, OK; sister-in-law, Cathy Wolf Cates of Oklahoma City, OK; aunt, Ester Shafer of Oklahoma City, OK; and her best friends, Jeanie Booze and Trish. Bev also leaves behind 27 nieces and nephews, as well as many other family members and friends whom she loved dearly.

Memorial gifts may be made to St. John's Altar Society and Elementary School.

A Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 30, 2024 at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Yukon, OK, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at the same location.
