Billy Strawn Gattis

Billy Strawn Gattis, 89 of Yukon, OK, passed away on July 1, 2022 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Billy was born Mar. 17, 1933 in Sherman, TX, to the late George Jefferson Gattis and Ruth Mae (Dicus) Gattis.  He married Linda (Withers) Gattis, sharing 61 years of marriage before his passing.

An Army Veteran, Billy served in the Korean War.  During his professional career, he was a Distributor for Little Debbie Snack Cakes for many years.

Billy is survived by his wife of the home in Yukon; daughter, Mitzi Gattis of Yukon, OK; son, Mark T. Gattis and wife Judith of Okla. City, OK; grandchildren, Mark T. Gattis, Marshall Gattis, David Gattis, and Christian Gattis, as well as 8 great grandchildren.

There will be visitation for family and friends on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Yukon Cemetery, Yukon, OK.
