Billy Ronald Adams

Billy Ronald Adams, age 90, of Yukon, Oklahoma, passed away on September 20, 2024, in Oklahoma City. Born on June 3, 1934, in Seminole, Oklahoma, Billy lived a life marked by dedication to family, service, and a strong work ethic.

In 1978, Billy moved to Yukon, where he became a respected member of the community. He enjoyed a successful career in the oil industry, working for notable companies including Ashland Oil, Petro-Lewis, and Kerr-McGee. His commitment to his work was matched only by his dedication to his country, having served in the Oklahoma National Guard, Army, and Army Reserve.

Billy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris; mother, Oleta Adams Pope; father, Chester Adams, and his brothers, Steve and Jimmy Adams. He is survived by his daughter, Paula Penrod; son-in-law, Darren Penrod; grandsons, Colin and Adam Penrod, and brother, Joe Adams who will carry on his legacy of love and strength.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the Yukon Cemtery, Yukon, OK.

Billy Ronald Adams will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
