Blanche Joan Freeman

Blanche Joan Freeman, 87, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at her home in Cashion, OK. She was born November 12, 1934 in Ada, OK, to Pete and Martha (Welch) Huddleston.

On June 24, 1951, she married James David Altus Freeman, and in 1962 they moved their family to Yukon, OK. Blanche worked at as a phone tester for Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent for 10 years. She later began a long career with the Yukon Public Schools Athletic Department working in gate admissions, a job she dearly loved. Her kind and generous heart provided for many to enjoy athletic events at her expense.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Altus Freeman.

Blanche is survived by her children:  James Mark Freeman, David Burt Freeman, and Sammie Joan Freeman, as well as numerous grandkids.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the Yukon Cemetery, Yukon, OK.
