Bonnie Lee Tice

Bonnie Tice, 78, of Mustang, Oklahoma, passed away on February 4, 2026. She was born on December 7, 1947, in Elmira, New York, where she spent her childhood and laid the foundation for a life filled with love, compassion, and devotion to family.

Bonnie grew up next door to the boy who would become the love of her life, Donald "Don" Tice. Their lifelong connection blossomed into marriage on February 4, 1967. Together they shared a beautiful life and were blessed with two daughters whom they adored beyond measure.

In 1981, Bonnie and Don moved their family to Oklahoma, to pursue Don's career. Oklahoma became home, where Bonnie carried her love for family wherever she went.

Bonnie possessed many special qualities, but her greatest joy was being a loving and devoted mother. She had a gentle heart and a giving spirit, always making others feel welcomed and deeply cared for. She enjoyed crocheting, working on jigsaw puzzles, and doing word searches. Baking was another way she shared her love, often delighting family and friends with homemade treats.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don Tice, with whom she shared 52 wonderful years of marriage; her parents, Beverly and Ralph French; and her siblings Carol French, Jeannie Bright, Cora Morse, Karen Nixon, and Kathy Harkness.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol Potts and wife Terri Potts of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Lori Joyner and husband Karl Joyner of Mustang, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Tori Joyner, Laci Irion and husband Robert Irion, and Evan Joyner and his girlfriend Sophia Doersom; her great-grandchildren, Nova Joyner and Slate Irion, with a soon-to-arrive baby girl Irion; her brothers, Ralph French and Arthur French; and her close friend, Connie Black.

On February 4, 2026, Bonnie was reunited with Don on what would have been their 59th wedding anniversary—a testament to a love that never faded.

Carol and Lori wish for their mother to be remembered as the caring, loving woman she was. Bonnie had endless compassion for others and a gift for making everyone feel special. Even in her final moments, she remained her fun and feisty self, leaving behind a legacy of love that will live on in all who knew her.
