Bradly Dewayne Wingo

Bradly DeWayne Wingo, age 58, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on March 21, 2025. He was born on November 8, 1966, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Larry DeWayne Wingo and Kathleen Sue Bennett-Wingo.

Brad grew up in Oklahoma, spending his early childhood in The Village, Oklahoma, before moving with his family to Yukon in 1975. He attended Ranchwood Elementary, Independence Middle School, Junior High, and graduated from Yukon High School in 1985.

In his professional life, Brad worked in the real estate abstracting field, dedicating many years to the profession before retiring. He was an active member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral, where he was baptized, and was also an enrolled member of the Western Cherokee Nation of Arkansas and Missouri.

Brad was passionate about vintage cars, British television, and Tiny Homes, and he found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He spent 33 years of his life with his partner, Stan Patterson, whom he married in 2022.

Brad was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Wingo; his paternal grandparents, Jiggs Wingo and Opal Ruth Wingo-Vrana; and his maternal grandparents, Merl and Gerry Bennett.

He is survived by his loving husband, Stan Patterson; his mother, Kathy Bennett-Wingo-Taylor; his father, Larry DeWayne Wingo and wife, Beri; his sister, Kim Wingo-Dyer and husband, Gregg; his sister-in-law, Becky Patterson-Hamrick and husband, Kevin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Brad's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
