Brian James Martin

Brian James Martin, 45, of Bethany, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Brian was born on September 6, 1980, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Bob and Vicki Martin. He was raised in Yukon, attending and graduated from Mustang Public Schools. He later continued his education and played football at Southwestern Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma.

Brian built a lifelong career in the dirt construction industry, leaving a lasting mark across Oklahoma through his work. In addition to his career, he was a talented guitarist and songwriter who was active in the local Oklahoma music community.

He enjoyed working on his father's 1968 Chevelle SS 396, cheering on the OU Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys, making music, and spending time with his family and friends.

Above all, Brian was a caring and loving man who deeply valued his family. He will be missed beyond measure.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Vicki Martin; his grandparents, Charlie and Elsie Foster, Dean and Sandra Mitchell, and Richard and Willie Martin.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Martin of Bethany, Oklahoma; his sons, Trevor Martin of Norman, Oklahoma, and Ryan Stone of Bethany, Oklahoma; his sister, Cynthia Sanderson and her husband, Colton, and their daughter, Everly, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services to honor Brian's life will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, with graveside service and burial to follow at Yukon Cemetery.
