Carolyn Marie Leck

Carolyn Marie Leck of El Reno, OK entered the Kingdom of Heaven on August 10, 2023, while surrounded by her family. Carolyn was born in Okarche, OK on February 8, 1956 to John and Rose Bleigh.

She loved her family and her friends fiercely. She was a devoted mother to her sons, Mike Samples and Jarrod Samples, and a loving wife to Shelton Bryan, Jr. Carolyn loved to spend time in her garden and found her favorite waterfall in Ouray, CO. Carolyn was a force to be reckoned with, firm, but fair. She believed in second chances, love, and forgiveness. Carolyn loved road trips, kayaking, canning food from her garden, and music with loved ones.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Shelton Bryan, Jr. of El Reno, OK; sons, Mike Samples and wife Erin, of Arapaho, OK, Jarrod Samples and wife Tammy of Aubrey, TX, and Shelton Bryan, III; numerous grandchildren of Pueblo, CO; her grandchildren, Kyler Samples and partner Rose Stachwell, of Norman OK, Amy Jo Shepherd of Stillwater, OK, Jonathan Samples of Sarasota, FL, Mikayla Bleakley of Mustang, OK and Noah Samples and Dacy Rae Shepherd of Arapaho, OK; mother, Rose Bleigh, and sisters, Debby Smith and husband Sterling of El Reno, OK, and Susan Hendrick and husband Ed of Spiro, OK, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Bleigh.

Carolyn's life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 8, 2023 at the El Reno Cemetery Pavilion, El Reno, OK.
