Charles Joseph Deseyn

Charles J. DeSeyn, a cherished veteran and the unwavering hero of his family, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on September 30, 1971, Charles was respected and loved by many, living a life defined by service, laughter, and an enormous heart.

While many admired his dedication to his country through his service in the Army National Guard, those closest to him knew him as the man who could light up any room—funny, silly, and wonderfully goofy, with a heart bigger than most.

He was the "bestest friend" anyone could ask for and the kind of husband and father most only dream of. For his wife, Xenia, Charles was a once-in-a-lifetime true love. He was her anchor, teaching her to "slow down and breathe" and to find peace in the present moment. Even when distance separated them, his presence brought a lasting sense of safety and comfort that will remain with her forever.

To his children, he was larger than life. He was "Batman" to his son, Xavier, and "Superman" to his daughter, Natalia. He protected, guided, and loved them with the strength and devotion of the heroes they saw in him.

Charles's legacy lives on in the many people who loved him. He will be forever remembered for his infectious laugh, his signature "eyebrow thing," and the quiet strength he offered to everyone he met. He was, and will always be, the hero of his family's story.

Charles is survived by his devoted wife, Xenia DeSeyn; his son, Xavier Bullard; and his daughter, Natalia DeSeyn.

He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of service and boundless love will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 p.m. at Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Yukon, OK.
