Charles "Charlie" Lee Pape, Jr.

Charles Lee Pape Jr. was born on August 19, 1954 in Corpus Christi, TX to Charles and Virginia (Jenny) Munson Pape. He passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 in Yukon, OK. Charlie spent  his early childhood traveling the world with his family due to his dad's Air Force career. In 1962 his family settled in Midwest City, OK

He graduated from Midwest City High School in 1973. After graduation he worked at Dayton Tire for 13 years. In June 1983 he married the love of his life Carolyn, they settled in Mustang, Ok and began their family. They welcomed daughter Jessica in February 1985.

In 1985, he started his own business, Action Lock and Safe. Over the years he built extraordinary relationships with his customers that still hold strong today. Charlie was a charter member of Business Leaders of OKC. In 2023 he proudly celebrated 25 years with the club.

Charlie was a great friend to many. His exterior was tough but he was kind, generous, loving and loyal. His laugh was loud and contagious and when he laughed everyone laughed with him. Charlie's greatest joy was being a grandpa to his three grandsons, he loved attending all of their activities and took great pride in all three of them.

Charlie is proceeded in death by his parents, Charlie and Jenny. He is survived by Sister Janet Scales, Brother Dennis and Wife Brenda, Wife Carolyn, Daughter Jessica Allen and Husband Bo, Grandson's Cole, Austin and Jackson, Aunt Pat Rodden, and several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

A service to honor and remember Charlie will be held on Thursday, April 18th at 2:00 P.M. at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, 1500 W. Vandament Ave, Yukon, OK 73099, with interment following at the Mustang Cemetery, Mustang, OK.
