Christopher Keith Higgins

Christopher Keith Higgins, 29, was born January 30, 1997,  and passed away September 17, 2026 surrounded by the love of family and friends who cherished him deeply.

Christopher faced extraordinary challenges throughout most of his life after being diagnosed with Juvenile Huntington's disease. Though he was never given the opportunity to experience many of the thing's life offers, he lived every day to the fullest extent possible. Despite his struggles, he possessed a remarkable spirit, touching the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, courage, and unwavering heart left a lasting impression on all who met him.

Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Terry Wayne Higgins; his uncle, Tony Higgins; and his grandfather, Keith Higgins.

He is survived by his loving mother, Glenda Sue Higgins; his brother, Blaire Kamisizian; his sister, Krystina Ann Teter; his nephew, Michael Schloss; and his aunt, Michelle Spencer, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Those who knew Christopher will remember the way his smile could light up an entire room. Even during the most difficult times, he maintained a pure and loving heart. In the final years of his life, as his illness progressed and left him bedridden, he continued to demonstrate strength, grace, and a spirit that inspired those around him.

Christopher's life was not measured by the years he lived, but by the love he gave and the lives he touched. He will be missed more than words can ever express, but his memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

Christopher’s life will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Bethesda Assembly of God Church, 3101 S.W. 89th St., Oklahoma City, OK 73159.
