Cynthia Lou Young

Cynthia Lou Young, age 77, of Yukon, Oklahoma passed away on August 22, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.

Cynthia or Nana, as she was called by most, was born in Des Moines Iowa on May 13, 1946 to Ray and Betty Banghart. She attended Des Moines Technical High School and graduated in 1964. She obtained her LPN at Clarksburg School of Practical Nursing. She married John R. Young on December 24th, 1965. Together they had 3 sons and 1 daughter, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Cindy enjoyed crocheting and sharing her creations with others. She loved to cook and bake cookies at Christmas. But above all, she loved her husband, children and grandchildren endlessly.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ray Banghart; mother, Betty Banghart; and son David Robert Young.

Cindy is survived by her husband, John; son Todd Young and wife Amy; son John A. Young and wife Andrea; daughter Amanda Burrell.

Grandchildren Matthew Young, Robert Young, Hannah Young, David Young, Lily Robinson, Emma Burrell, Olivia Burrell, Holden Robinson & Cole Young. Great grandchildren Oakley, Linlee, Avah, Everly, Layla, Avabelle & Todd M.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Yanda & Son Funeral Homes, Inc. 1500 W Vandament, Yukon OK 73085.
