Daisey Beatrice Crist

Daisey Beatrice Crist, age 90, of Little City, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024 at her home in Yukon, Oklahoma. She was born January 9, 1934, in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma to the late John and Ida Howell. Daisey was raised in Oklahoma and eventually worked as a waitress. She married Jerome James Crist on Sept. 27, 1974 in El Reno, Oklahoma and in 2000 they moved to Little City, where they spent their lives together. In 2022 Daisey moved to Yukon, Oklahoma where she lived the rest of her life with her grandson, Joshua and his wife Emily and great-granddaughter, Braelyn.

She was an avid bowler, bringing home many trophies. She enjoyed fishing and gardening with Jerome and she loved crocheting. She also loved watching her favorite games shows. Especially The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune, with her beloved Bob Barker, and Pat Sajak. Most of all, Daisey loved spending time with family. She looked most forward to Wednesday nights watching Survivor with her grandson, Joshua and her daily phone calls with her daughter, Debbie.

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Todd of Oklahoma City; grandson Joshua Todd and wife Emily, of Yukon, and sons Jimmy and Tracy Crist of Guthrie; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Daisey was proceeded in death by her parents, her loving husband Jerome, daughter Cheryl Bean, and her sweet grand-dog Molly.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, 1500 W. Vandament Ave., Yukon, Oklahoma 73099 with interment to follow at Pontotoc Cemetery, Pontotoc, Oklahoma.
