Dawn Cheri` Reynolds

Beautiful Cheri' passed on to Heaven on April 10th, 2024, as a faithful servant of God. Her belief and faith express the message of salvation and to be ever vigilant in your walk of life.

Dawn Cheri' Reynolds was born in Freona, TX, on February 15, 1961, to Dave and Barbara Heck. Cheri' spent her childhood in Hereford, TX, with teen years being spent in the Cimmaron, NM area. When she was 21 years old, Cheri' met Barry Reynolds on November 23, 1982. The pair became friends instantly, eventually becoming inseparable. Their relationship grew into love in weeks, and they were married on May 7, 1983, at the Wichita Mountains Holy City Rock Chapel. Cheri' and Barry decided to build their lives in Yukon. The love they shared grew to include their children Haley and husband Donavan Furr, Ryan and wife Shelbi Reynolds, and Chase Reynolds. Cheri' also loved her precious grandchildren Kathryn and Roland Furr and Malone and Tilly Reynolds. She was a fierce protector of her family, with each and every member missing her immensely.

Cheri' was an active volunteer in children's education at Helping Hands for over fifteen years. She had a passion for dedicating her time to the vocal music department with many achievements and honors. Cheri' had the spirit of an entrepreneur and was blessed with a gift for interior design. She was constantly ahead of the trends.

Being the center post of grounding support for her family, Cheri' was always able to set great examples of love, compassion, and admiration. She loved dearly, and was dearly loved.

There have been many loved ones to go before her, including her Nucleus group, family, friends, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles; but of those who remain, Cheri' would ask to send a special prayer for her mother Barbara Anne; sisters Valorie, Lisa, and Rhonda; brother Doug; brother in law Bruce; Steven P., Misty, and Bill.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., with a brief message around 12:30 p.m., at Blose Barn & Garden, 301 S. Richland Rd., Yukon, Oklahoma. This will be a come-as-you-are, come and go event as well as a potluck, so bring something if you'd like. It is not required but what is required is an appetite, a smile, and love.
