With heavy hearts, yet radiant memories, we celebrate the life of Diane Vermell (Spring) Holt, a cherished mother, devoted wife, and a beacon of kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Diane gracefully journeyed through life, spreading warmth and love wherever she went, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of countless souls. On March 28, 2024, heaven welcomed her gentle spirit, as she peacefully departed this world in Yukon, Oklahoma, at the age of 72.

Born on May 28, 1951, in the serene embrace of Cottage Grove, Oregon, Diane was a radiant light from the moment she entered this world. She was the cherished daughter of Vermell and Clarence Spring, and from her earliest days, she embodied the virtues of compassion, generosity, and unwavering faith.

Diane's life was a testament to the profound impact one person can have on the world. She found immeasurable joy in nurturing her family, cultivating a home filled with love and laughter alongside her beloved husband, Joe Holt. Together, they built a legacy of love that continues to flourish through their six children: Chris, Jeff, Rodney, Dedra, Janet, and Stacey, who were the heartbeats of her existence. Diane's love knew no bounds, and she poured her heart into spoiling her 30 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, showering them with affection and wisdom.

A devout Christian, Diane's faith illuminated every aspect of her life. She found solace in the embrace of her church community, where she eagerly supported the missions and shared the message of love and compassion with all she encountered. Her unwavering faith served as a guiding light, inspiring others to embrace kindness and empathy.

Diane's love extended beyond her family and faith community; she found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether tending to her cherished garden or losing herself in the pages of a beloved book, she radiated a warmth and grace that drew others to her side.

In her passing, Diane leaves behind a legacy of love and light that will continue to illuminate the lives of those she touched. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will forever dwell in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, let us take comfort in the knowledge that the world was undeniably better because Diane graced it with her presence.
