Dillon Lee Bolding

Dillon Lee Bolding, 33, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024.  Dillon was born in Oklahoma City, went to Surrey Hills elementary and graduated from Yukon High in 2009. Dillon lived in Yukon, OK, with many friends and loving family.  He was an avid sports fan and played basketball and baseball throughout his school years.  He attended OSU basketball camps and was known as a good shooter.  He attended college football and basketball games at both OSU and OU with his grandparents and enjoyed going to Thunder games with his cousin Chase and Maw Maw June.  Dillon had a kind, gentle soul and a special connection with children and animals. He was a natural moving and working cattle with his dad and Kim at the Rockin' B.  A tribute to his kind heart was when he buried the ranch pick-up in a pond going dry trying to save the fish.  He had great times in FFA including winning Canadian County Grand Champion with his favorite steer Cash Bolding in 2008.  Dillon traveled with his Maw Maw June across the country to Atlantis, Galveston, Laguna Beach, and New York City to name a few.  As a child he terrorized 6-flags over Texas many summers with Maw Maw Barbara, Aunt Shelly, and cousins Chase and Lindsey.  Kendall, Kim, Dillon and Maw Maw June traveled to Disney World, but once they got there all Dillon wanted to do was swim.  He loved fishing and spending time at Lake Texoma with his grandparents.  He hauled hay with Aunt Gerri and afterwards topped it off fishing at Banner farm with her and his friends.  Dillon left us with many great memories and with a precious gift his beautiful baby girl named Era Lee.  She was born July 8, 2023.  Dillon was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  Dillon was preceded in death by his mother Deborah Rene` Boyd, grandparents, Gerald Lee Bolding, Charles and Barbara Boyd, and Vernon and Jo Ann Maxey.  Dillon is survived by his daughter Era Lee Renee Bolding; parents Kendall and Kim Bolding; sister Hanna Schuyler; grandparents Clark and June McCaskill; aunts and uncles, Gerri Bolding, Zach Barrett, Doug and Shelly Johnston, and Greg and Vici Boyd, and cousins, Chase Botkin, Lindsey Botkin, and family, Jordan Boyd and family, Amy Boyd and family, as well as many cousins.
