With hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Donna Flarity. After a courageous 14-month journey through cancer and stroke recovery, Donna walked into the arms of the Lord on July 26th, 2026 at the age of 71. A woman of extraordinary strength, positivity, and grace, her legacy will have a lasting impact, and we will miss her immensely.

She was a devoted daughter, sister, and a proud and adoring mother of two sons - Gavin and Garrett Otteson; a loving mother-in-law to Charlie and Ashley Otteson; a doting grandmother to Elise Otteson; and a generous friend to many.

Donna was born November 29th, 1954 in Vivian, Louisiana to Frank and Ella Flarity. She built a life defined by deep devotion to family. As a homemaker she poured her heart into creating a warm and loving home, taking deep pride in nurturing not only her family but also a garden of flowers, children, and lifelong friendships. She worked at her sons’ school, enhancing the lives of many children. Donna volunteered for Meals on Wheels for numerous years and never missed a call for help – whether it was for her family or others. Her presence was grounding and constant, full of compassion.

She is survived by a legacy of strength, compassion, and unforgettable charm. She leaves behind not just her children, grandchildren, and extended family - but also a blueprint for living with courage, humor, and grace. And though the world feels dimmer without her in it, we carry her with us - in our commitment to positivity, in our striving for strength, and in the way we show up for the people we love.

Her spirit lives on in those she guided, nurtured, and cheered on. To know her was to be seen, to be remembered, and to be loved. She was, and always will be, beloved and dearly missed.

Donna’s life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 3, 2026 at Council Road Baptist Church Chapel, 2900 N. Council Rd., Bethany, Oklahoma 73008, with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery, Yukon, Oklahoma.
