Doris Faye Adams

Doris Faye Adams, 82, departed this life on Saturday, August 6, 2022 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born April 13, 1940 in Salina, KS, the daughter of the late Cecil and Gladys (Langston) Cragar.

After graduating from high school, Doris attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in elementary education.

She then embarked on a 30 year teaching career, retiring in 1998 as a third grade teacher in the Putnam City School District. After retiring, she enjoyed caring for her two grandsons. Doris was a faithful member of South Yukon Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth David Cragar.

Doris is survived by her husband, Billy R. Adams; daughter, Paula Kay (Adams) Penrod; son-in-law, Darren Mark Penrod and two grandsons, Colin Blake Penrod and Adam Cole Penrod, as well as other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the South Yukon Church of Christ, 11700 N.W. 10 ^th St., Yukon, OK 73099.

Private graveside services will be held at the Yukon Cemetery.
