Doris Trojan Martini

Doris Trojan Martini entered God's kingdom on October 27, 2023, at the age of 82. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Yukon, Oklahoma.

Doris was born on January 18, 1941, to Anna and Joseph Trojan in Enid, Oklahoma. Not long after graduating from Waukomis High School in 1959, she married the love of her life, Paul Francis Martini II, on February 11, 1960. Together, they raised three children: Robert, Joann, and Paul. In the summer of 1996, Doris and Paul relocated from Enid to Oklahoma City to be closer to family.  Doris took pride in her work as an accountant for 42 years. After finally retiring at age 65, she greatly enjoyed attending church events, socializing with her many friends, and spending time with her beloved family. Doris loved to see her family smile, laugh, and spend quality time together.  Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her world. Doris loved life, loved her faith, and loved the Lord.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; brother, Ernest Trojan; sister, Beatrice Hladik; son, Dr. Robert Martini; daughter, Joann Queeney; and her great granddaughter, Ella Grelle. She will be dearly missed and leaves many cherished memories with her loving family: son, Paul F. Martini III and wife Laura; daughter-in-law, Shalia Martini; 5 grandchildren: Aubree Grelle and husband Matt, Andrea Martini, Zach Martini, Drew Queeney, and Grant Queeney; and her great grandchildren, Luke and Liv Grelle, as well as many other family members and friends.

Viewing will be held from 5 pm – 7 pm at Yanda & Son Funeral Home in Yukon, OK on Thursday November 2, 2023. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, November 3, 2023 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Moore, OK with Father Francis Nguyen and Father Jack Feehily officiating. Doris will be buried next to her husband at St. Joseph Cemetery in Norman, OK.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the March of Dimes in honor of her great granddaughter, Ella.
