Earl Ray Coffey

Earl Ray Coffey, 82, passed away May 26, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born September 19, 1940 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Irvin and Lily Coffey. While being a carpenter and a man of few words, Irvin raised Earl to work hard, never run his mouth, and to earn the respect of others. Earl served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War between the years of 1966 and 1968. After marrying the love of his life in 1967, Ho Sun, they had their first and only son, Kevin. Earl found a career in the oil industry, and spent 32 years at the same company before his retirement. His favorite things in life were family, fishing, and camping. The Coffey family spent countless hours in the outdoors while camping, enjoying precious time with friends and family. Earl was a hardworking man who dedicated everything he earned to his loving wife and son. He will be dearly missed by many friends and family who had the pleasure of knowing him. Earl was preceded in death by his mother and father, Irvin and Lilly Coffey; and brother, Robert Coffey. He is survived by his wife, Ho Sun; his son Kevin Coffey; and his brother John McKinley.

Viewing will be held 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Thursday, June 1, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 2, 2023 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, with graveside services following at 2:30 p.m., at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Pauls Valley, OK. A complete obituary will be posted when available.
