Edna Francis (Tipton) Davis passed away peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2026, in Yukon, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loving family. She joined her beloved husband, Truman, through the gates of Heaven on what would have been their 70th wedding anniversary.

Edna was born on September 15, 1937, in Munday, Texas, to Glen and Bessie (Thompson) Tipton. The family soon moved to Reed, Oklahoma, where they purchased a farm. Edna graduated from Reed School in May 1956.

On October 23, 1956, Edna married the love of her life, Truman Davis. They shared 65 wonderful years of marriage before his passing. Edna and Truman were members of West 10th Street Baptist Church. They moved to Oklahoma City in 1963 and later settled in Yukon in 1974.

Edna was a homemaker and seamstress. She also helped Truman with his heating and air conditioning business, handling bookkeeping and occasionally assisting him on the job. She treasured family reunions at the lake and enjoyed traveling with Truman. Together, they started a breakfast club with their neighbors, visiting a different restaurant almost every Saturday morning. Edna also enjoyed going to the casinos with her neighbors, Clarence and Betty Kelly.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Bessie Tipton of Mangum, Oklahoma; her beloved husband, Truman Davis; four brothers, Otha Lee Tipton of Crane, Texas, Frank Tipton of Duncan, Oklahoma, Jim Tipton of Mangum, Oklahoma, and John Tipton of Yukon, Oklahoma; and one sister, Ruby Hudson of Edmond, Oklahoma.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Hamather, and her husband, Pete, of Moore, Oklahoma; her son, Kevin Davis, and his wife, Betty, of Yukon, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Katriese Bolen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two great-grandsons, Allen Oliver of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Anthony Oliver of Yukon, Oklahoma; one great-granddaughter, Hayden Robertson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one great-great-grandson, Azaiah Ray Truman Oliver of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and adopted son, Mitch Hicks.

She is also survived by two sisters, Faye Cotton and her husband Emory of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Bevela Farley and her husband, Dave, of Grove, Oklahoma, along with many nieces and nephews.

Edna will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for the life she shared with those she loved and the many cherished memories she leaves behind.
