Edna Maye Purcer Mcaffrey

On July 30, 2022, Edna Maye Purcer McAffrey died in Yukon, Oklahoma of natural causes . She was 101 years old.

Maye worked as a Hair Dresser for most of her life, retiring in 1990. She came from a large family with roots in the Pauls Valley, Oklahoma area. Spending most of her life in Midwest City, Oklahoma, she moved to Yukon in 1990 to be closer to her one daughter, Jacque Weber.

Maye was known to be active in her church and many public service activities. Those that know her knew she had a big heart and a great memory. She enjoyed telling jokes and laughing a lot. She is survived by many friends and family members. She will be missed.
