Elizabeth Ann Breiding

Elizabeth A. Breiding, age 86, of Yukon, Oklahoma, passed peacefully with family by her side on July 24, 2025. She was born July 10, 1939, in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Felix and Caroline Bukowski.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her sister Carolyn Ann Murdock (George); her brother, John Bukowski; and her granddaughter, Jessica Breiding.

Elizabeth (Betty) grew up in Brooklyn, New York. After high school, she worked for the New York Telephone Company, moving up to the position of trainer. She then lived in Indiana and California before moving to Oklahoma in 1971. In Oklahoma City, she worked for TG&Y and then International Crystal Manufacturing (ICM) while rearing her children. After that, she was employed for many years by Foley's Department Store. Devoted to family, she often helped with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a hard worker, both for her employers and her family. In her later years she lived with her daughters Denise and Debra.

A devoted believer in Christ, she lived a full life with a large family of six siblings, four children, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, puzzles, reading, and, most of all, spending time with her family.

Elizabeth is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Debra Murdock, and Denise Sherman (Larry); two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Breiding (Annabell), and Jerome Breiding (Janelle); three brothers, Arthur Bukowski (Joyce), Robert Bukowski, and Philip Bukowski (Lynn); one sister, June Eades; one brother-in-law, George Murdock; five grandchildren, Lisa Parker, Mark Murdock (Patti), Stacey Murdock, Dana Gillett, and Justin Breiding; and seven great grandchildren; She also leaves many other family members who will miss her dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday August 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at:  First Baptist Church, 928 N. Mustang Rd., Mustang, OK. 73064.
