Evan Paul Bartholomew

Evan Paul Bartholomew, age 20, of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, June 25th, 2026, in Norman, Oklahoma. He was born August 31st, 2005, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Ryan and Miranda Bartholomew. Evan attended Yukon High School and the University of Oklahoma.

Evan was a son, grandson, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. He was smart, funny, loyal, deeply unselfish, and a protector, always putting others before himself. Evan had a special gift for finding joy in life and sharing that with others. He was the kind of soul that people felt lucky to have known. Evan loved to sing and dance and expressed himself through photography and music. In his final days, he always had his camera in hand. Evan cherished animals and nature, especially his beloved cat Oliver. He loved thunderstorms, snow, the moon, gardening, and flowers. His presence brought light wherever he went, and his energy was impossible to miss. He brought warmth, laughter, and light with him, and his smile and spirit could brighten even the hardest of days. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and supported. He was the best son, the best brother, and the kind of friend who loved without hesitation. His beautiful spirit will remain in the hearts of all that knew him.

Evan is preceded in death by grandparents Charles and Evelyn Allen. He is survived by his mother Miranda Bartholomew, father Ryan Bartholomew, sister Peyten Bartholomew, and grandparents John and Peggy Bartholomew, along with many other family and friends.

A viewing will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the funeral home.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Hope Connection Church, 8309 Santa Fe Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73139. Burial to follow at the Yukon Cemetery in Yukon, Oklahoma.

The Evan Bartholomew Hope & Healing Memorial Fund has been founded to make contributions to charities that help those affected by addiction and support drug prevention and awareness programs.
