Floyd Denton Ryan

Floyd Denton Ryan, 83, of Oklahoma City, OK, went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2022 surrounded by loved ones.

He was preceded in death by parents Jaired Denton Ryan and Lela Bell Tillery, siblings Jaraid D. Ryan Jr., Kenneth "Doug" Ryan, Shirley Steelman, Imogene Berry, and wife of 17 years Debra Kim Ryan.

Floyd is survived and lovingly remembered by children Debbie Chauncey, Marshall Ryan and wife Margie, Jimmie Ryan and wife Fran, Curtis Ryan, Kayleigh Wheeler and husband Josh; grandchildren Michelle Outlaw and husband Jason, Jason Chauncey and wife Judi, Wanda Tarboro and husband Jason, Ashley Lara and husband Thomas, Alli Williams, Laura Berridge and husband Colin, Myles Ryan and wife Kelsey, Morgan Ryan, Aubrey Ryan and wife Kandy, Benjamin Stouffer and wife Misty and numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Floyd was born in Goodwater, Oklahoma on March 18, 1939. He graduated from Southeast High School in 1957 and was a security supervisor at Will Rogers International Airport in Oklahoma City for more than 20 years performing private security screenings for both OU and OSU sports teams and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Outside of Floyd's love for family, he enjoyed playing the guitar, tinkering with household projects and assisting friends and family members with various home improvement tasks. He was a jack of all trades and looked for opportunities to pass down his knowledge whenever possible. His friends and neighbors held him in the highest regard and considered him Mr. Fix-It due to his talent and expertise.

His memorial service will be held at Yanda and Son Funeral Home, 1500 W. Vandament Ave., Yukon, OK 73099, on July 22, 2022 at 11:00 am with Allan Dalton officiating. A gathering will take place at the home of daughter Kayleigh Wheeler at 505 Braxton Way, Yukon, OK 73099 immediately following the service.
