Freddie Louis Sanders, Jr.

Freddie Louis Sanders Jr., 42, of Yukon gained his angel wings on Sunday, April 16, 2023 after his heart could no longer fight off the infection in his body.

He attended Bridge Creek School, eventually graduating from Sapulpa High School, participating in basketball for both schools. He continued his education and basketball career at Redlands in El Reno, Central Baptist in Arkansas and Oklahoma Wesleyan University.

Freddie was always the spark of fun as soon as he entered any room, always bringing a smile or laughter wherever he went.  He was quick with a handshake or a hug and always a joy to be around.  His outlook on life was always positive no matter what struggles he was facing.  He truly loved with all his heart and never met a stranger. Freddie was the happiest he had been and doing very well in his business.

He enjoyed spending time with his nephew, Garren and loved teaching him to play basketball at a very early age.  He had many close friends and family that loved him very much and he has left a HUGE void in our hearts and lives.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Vanesia L Dodson; niece, Reagan Dodson and father, Freddie Sanders, Sr.

Freddie is survived by his mother, Tracie Fuson; stepfather, Don Fuson; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Dodson; nephew, Garren Dodson, and grandmother, Darlene Groves. Additionally he is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

There will be no public viewing. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
