Glenda Sherill Berry

Glenda Sherill Berry, age 79, passed away on April 11, 2026, at her home in Yukon, Oklahoma. She was born on January 24, 1947 in Oklahoma City, OK to Glenn and Lucille Buckner.

She grew up in and around Oklahoma City, graduated from Grant High School in 1965, and Central State University’s nursing program in 1983. She married James Richard Berry on June 7, 1968 in Oklahoma City.

Glenda worked as a Registered Nurse for Integris Baptist Medical Center. In retirement she found joy in playing mahjong, spending time with her family, as well as volunteering her time at her church, Christ Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband Jim; three children and their spouses; and three grandchildren. She is also survived by extended family members and friends who will remember her fondly.

A celebration of life service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church in Mustang, 501 N. Clear Springs Rd., Mustang, OK 73064, at 11:30 a.m. CST on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
