James "Jim" Allan Williams, Jr.

James "Jim" Allan Williams, Jr. passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025, at age 84. He was born on December 26, 1940, in El Reno, Oklahoma to James Allan and Vivian Williams of El Reno.

Jim graduated from El Reno High school and then went on to pursue an education at Oklahoma State University. Jim began his first job at age 7 at his family's feed mills. He enjoyed working at this young age which established his work ethic. He joined his father in the electrical business, and later started his own company, Northwest Electric, in Oklahoma City. He wired commercial and residential properties.

In 1968, Jim married his wife Donna and had two sons, Dallas and Tyler. The loving couple spent 58 wonderful years together. Jim and his family moved to California for 8 years, but after waiting for hours in gas lines, Williams family soon returned to Oklahoma in 1980. He was interested in the oil boom and decided to drill a few wells. Pipe at the time was scarce, which was unfortunate because he needed them to finish his wells. Jim capitalized on this demand for pipe and started CPI Pipe and Steel in 1981.

Jim and his wife Donna worked together at CPI, starting the business out in a small El Reno yard. They were pleased when both sons chose to join the family business. Over the years, CPI has grown to be a 140-acre location on I-40 in Banner, Oklahoma. Jim's sons continue the business with the same work ethic learned from their father.

Jim was preceded in death by both parents and sisters, Pamala Sides and Sharon Jenson. He is survived by his loving wife Donna Williams; sons, Dallas and Tyler Williams; grandchildren Luke, Reagan, Holden and Taylor Williams and Everett Stacy; as well as many nieces and nephews that he loved to the fullest when growing up and becoming adults.

To celebrate Jim's life, services will be held at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, 1500 W. Vandament Ave., Yukon, OK, on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
