Jason Lemar Black

Jason Lemar Black, 42, of McAlester, Oklahoma, left to be with his Lord and Savior on September 18, 2023. Jason was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on May 26, 1981, to Don and Linda Black. Jason attended Mustang schools from elementary to high school, where he made lifelong friends. After graduation, Jason joined the United States Army. Jason was always a servant and loved serving his country. After his active-duty service, Jason went on to work for the Department of Corrections where he currently worked as a corrections officer and farm supervisor. Jason's favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing. He loved nothing more than being on the lake in his boat fishing, or in his tree stand hunting. Jason was a hard worker, and he loved nothing more than on his days off to be in his two favorite places. Jason is proceeded in death by his brother Jeffrey Todd Black; paternal grandparents Walter Sr. and Ruth Black; and maternal grandparents Sue and Carl Smith. Jason is survived by his parents Don and Linda Black of Yukon; the love of his life Amber Gaynor of Norman and kids; brother Donnie Black Jr. of Bridge Creek; and Sister Amber Hand and husband TJ. Jason had numerous nieces and nephews that he loved spending time with. He was so very proud of them and their accomplishments. Jason was a Christian and had a great Faith. It is not goodbye, it's see you later. We love you Uncle Mont.

Viewing will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2023 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, OK. Celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 23, at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery.
