Jeanne Lee

Jeanne passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 30, 1946, in Ringling, OK, to Eugene and Dixie Chapman. Her family moved to the Oklahoma City area when Jeanne was young. She attended Madison Elementary School and Taft Junior High School, ultimately graduating from Northwest Classen High School in 1964. She then attended Wright Business College, earning an associate's degree that she used throughout her career with State Farm Insurance. Among her many endeavors, Jeanne bought and managed a daycare center, owned and operated a gift shop in downtown Yukon, and earned her real estate license. Jeanne was a truly creative person with a passion for entrepreneurship, as evidenced by her cake-decorating skills, a keen eye for the perfect antique, and the stylish flair with which she decorated her home.

Along with her best friend Ruth Ann, Jeanne spent her high school years "racking around" in hopes of meeting boys. One night, after they washed the car, they headed to the local bowling alley when Roger Lee and his friend followed them to the lanes. From that point on, Jeanne's racking days were numbered. She married Roger in 1965, and together they shared 53 years of marriage, building a family with three children: Allan, Jennifer, and Brian.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents and her devoted husband, Roger. Jeanne is survived by her children: Allan and Deena Lee, Jennifer and Kirk Jones, and Brian Lee and Jill Stover; her grandchildren: Morgan and Taylor Johnson, Garrett and Hannah Brunsvold, Alexis and Jacob DeLoach, and Jewell and Keaton Rogers; her siblings: Judi Smith and John Chapman; and her great-grandchildren: Grace Brunsvold, Dallas DeLoach, Felix Johnson, Forrest DeLoach, and Lily Brunsvold.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, at Yanda & Son Funeral Home in Yukon, OK. A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, at the Yukon Cemetery.
