John David Hill

John David Hill, known to his friends as David, was born in 1955.  He was born in Binger, Oklahoma, but moved to Yukon, Oklahoma as a child.  David attended Yukon High School and served in the Army.  David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on various types of construction and often volunteered his time to help others with their projects.  He was kind and generous with all those he met.   He was preceded by his parents John Dale and Marjorie Hill.  He leaves behind his brother Kenneth Hill and his wife Patty Hill, and his sisters Ruth Ann Hill and her partner Eric Sundholm, and Tammie Mahoney and her husband James Mahoney.  He also left behind his two children Johnathon David Hill and Laura Francis Hill Mueller, as well as multiple grandchildren: William, Gavin, Johnathon, Joshua, and Emma.  His great-grandchildren include Brenley Faith Hill and Cayden Lemonds.  David passed away in his home in Yukon, Oklahoma on February 21, 2023.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Yanda & Son Funeral Home at 1500 W. Vandament in Yukon.  David was loved by his family and will be greatly missed by everyone he knew.  He loved all animals.  In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to Pets for Vets www.petsforvets.com .
