John Robert Kouba

John Robert Kouba, age 95, passed away on Saturday May 4, 2024 in Yukon, Oklahoma. He was born October 22, 1928 to Robert and Mary (Novak) Kouba in Yukon. He married Frances Ruzicka of Yukon on May 28, 1951. Farming was his lifelong occupation. His true love was flying and piloting the plane he once owned.

He was preceded in death by his wife, sister, parents, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.

John is survived by daughter Rita Halbert and husband Terry of Yukon; daughter Debbie Peffer and husband Glen of El Reno, and son Keith Kouba of Yukon; nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 9, at the Yukon Cemetery, Yukon, OK.
