Joy Lee Salisbury

Joy Lee Salisbury, 84 of Yukon passed away on September 9, 2024. Joy was born on January 6, 1940 to V.A. and Gertrude Murray. She had two brothers Arthur Dale and Larry Murray.

Joy graduated from Putnam City in 1958. In 1959 she met and later married Jack Salisbury. Together they raised three children. Mom will always be remembered for her love of antiques, quilting, and family.

She is survived by her husband, Jack, and children, Jackie and Darla Salisbury, Kenny and Susan Salisbury and Bonny and Randal Harwell. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Lesitte Murray, and grandchildren Angie, Doug and Ella Kennon, Ryan, Rachel, Oliver and Gwendolen Davis, Stormey Warner, Morgan Warner and Devante Jackson, Cyrus, Sayer and Marcellus Jackson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pets and People or the charity of your choice.

Viewing and visitation will be held Friday, September 13th from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Yanda and Son Funeral Home in Yukon.
