Joyce Fay Regnier

Joyce Fay Regnier, 89, of Yukon, Oklahoma, passed away on July 30, 2025. She was born on January 31, 1936 in Davenport, OK to Steve and Viola Ingram and graduated from Davenport High School in 1954, where she was active in basketball and band.

Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved son Phillip, her parents Steve and Viola Ingram, her brother AJ, her special twin brother Royce, and her sisters Mardell and Donita.

She is survived by her daughter Linda Palkowski (John), grandson Cody Brooks (Sasha), granddaughter Jaycee Woodward (Collins), and great-grandchildren Jennings, Whitley, Ollie, Jaedyn, Gage, Hayden, and Gunner.

Joyce made a career in banking that spanned over 60 years.  She married Bob Regnier in 2004, and together they built a life filled with love, fun, and strong family ties. Her love for Jesus was her guiding light and she loved her Surrey Hills Baptist Church family.  Whether traveling, tending their yard, or cheering on their teams, they did it side by side. Joyce was a passionate fan of Oklahoma State University and the OKC Thunder. She and Bob were longtime OSU season ticket holders and rarely missed a game. She wore her orange proudly and cheered loud from the stands.

Joyce had a gift for making people feel loved and included. Upon marrying Bob, she gained a bonus family that she embraced fully. She is also survived by her bonus daughters, Cindi (Barry) Wichert and Debi (Greg) Birdwell; grandsons Kyle (Erika) Richard and Brady Birdwell; and great-grandchildren Kiptyn, Claire, Kimber, and Maverick. She never missed a game, recital, or school event and found true joy in watching them grow.

Joyce had a deep love for gardening, and she and Bob were known for having one of the most beautiful yards in the neighborhood. Even into her later years, she cared for the flowerbeds at OKC West until her health no longer allowed.

She lived a life full of love and purpose. Her family was her great joy, and she will be remembered for her unwavering support, smile, and devotion to those she loved.

Viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 1, 2025 at the funeral home. Celebration of life services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 2, at Surrey Hills Baptist Church, Yukon, OK, with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery.
