Juanita Pearl Arthur, 79, of Yukon, Oklahoma, went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2026. Her life was filled with love, family, laughter, and countless memories that will continue to be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Juanita was born on January 8, 1947, in Mooreland, Oklahoma, to Clarence and Edna (Olds) Gray. She graduated from Turner High School in Kansas City, Kansas.
Juanita and Weldon “Butch” Arthur shared 63 years of marriage, building a life together centered around family, love, and many treasured memories.
Above all else, Juanita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was always her greatest priority, and she found her greatest happiness in simply being with the people she loved.
Juanita believed that some of life’s best memories were made together. She loved taking her children and grandchildren on trips, going to the movies, attending sporting events, and proudly cheering on her children and grandchildren from the stands. Some of her most treasured times were spent at Lake Eufaula, a place she dearly loved and where many special family memories were made through the years.
She was also a fabulous cook, and her family was always more than happy to gather around her table. Cooking was one of the many ways Juanita showed her love. Whether it was a favorite family meal, a holiday gathering, or simply something she knew someone enjoyed, her kitchen was often a place where family, laughter, and love came together.
Juanita had a special way of making family time meaningful. It was never about elaborate plans or grand occasions. It was the lake trips, ballgames, movies, meals, vacations, conversations, and ordinary days spent together that became extraordinary because she was there.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Edna Gray; her brothers Leroy Gray, Floyd Gray, Larry Gray, and Roger Gray; her sister Edith Redd; and her grandson, Karsten Vrana.
Juanita is survived by her husband of 63 years, Weldon “Butch” Arthur; her children, Tammy McKee and husband Mike, Pam Vrana, Danny Arthur and wife Kit, and Kenny Arthur; and her sister, Marquita Scott of Edmond, Oklahoma.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mike McKee III and wife Lydia, Kiley Mixon and husband Jeremy, Travis Tech and wife Kalen, Charli Phillips and husband Greg, Kloie Vrana, Heath Arthur, Hayley Perkins and husband Trey, Hanna McDonald and husband Caleb, Hayden Arthur, Caden Arthur, and Addie Bolf and husband Landon; 14 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Juanita leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and devotion to family. The lives she touched, the traditions she helped create, and the memories she made with those she loved will live on for generations.
While her family will miss her deeply, they also celebrate a life well lived and find comfort in knowing that Juanita is now at home with the Lord.
Her family was her greatest joy, her greatest blessing, and the heart of her life. She will be forever loved and never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Juanita’s memory to one of her favorite charities, Power of 100 Foundation – Canadian County. Donations may be mailed to P.O. Box 850645, Yukon, OK 73085, or made online at powerof100cc.org.
Celebration of life services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 9, 2026 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, Oklahoma.
