Judith "Judy" Elaine Keen

Judith "Judy" Prier-Keen — known and loved by her close family simply as "Mama”, passed away on May 27, 2026, at the age of 79. A devout Christian who above all loved the Lord, a loving mother, and a caring person to all who knew her, Judy lived a life full of faith, family, and the warmth she so freely gave.

Judy was born on May 15, 1947, in Wayland, Kentucky, to Edward and Mary Lou Slone. The oldest of eight children, she was the anchor of her family and always took care of all of them.

She built a career at Lucent Technologies, where she retired after 25 years of dedicated service. A devout Christian, she was a faithful and dedicated member of Canadian County Cowboy Church in Yukon, Oklahoma. Above all, Judy was known for the love she poured into her home — for her incredible meals and incredible desserts, and for the caring heart that made everyone around her feel cherished.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Lou Slone; her sisters, Veronica Bolden, Nyoka Enriquez, and Gay McCullough; her brother, Eddie Slone; and her former husband, Elburn Prier.

She is survived by her son, Guy Vence Prier, and daughter-in-law, Teresa Ane; her stepdaughter, Krystal Calvillo, and son-in-law, Corey; and her beloved step-granddaughter, Kashlyn. She is also survived by ex-husband, Terry Keen; her sister, Melissa Thompson and husband Mark; her brother, Baird Slone and wife Joni; her sister, Sheena McGrady and husband Andy; and by her many, many nieces and nephews.

Judith was loved by all her family, and her memory will be carried in the hearts of everyone whose life she touched.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2026 at the Canadian County Cowboy Church, 550 E. Main St., Yukon, Oklahoma, with interment following at the Moore Cemetery, Moore, Oklahoma.
