Judy Lyn McWaters

Judy Lyn McWaters, 83, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday April 5th, 2026. She was born October 14th, 1942 in Spokane, Washington to Lawrence and June Sutton.

She was raised in Lakewood, Washington, graduated from Clover Park High School in 1960 and went on to attend Washington State University. Judy worked as a medical transcriptionist at Madigan Army Hospital; then upon moving to Oklahoma, she worked at Bethany Children's Center, Bethany Hospital and several years for Integris Health.

Her favorite hobbies were watching her children and grandchildren play sports, gardening, exercise classes at the YMCA, volunteering and playing with her doggies. Judy and her husband were active at Christ's Church of Yukon for over 30 years.

Judy is survived by her husband Jim McWaters; sister Barbara Prough of Washington; and three children: Kim, Robin, and Michael. She has inherited the love of Cecil, Chris, Kim and relished the grandchildren Connor, Rachel, Jaclyn, Brock, Lauren, and Brooklyn. Her legacy of love continues to Lori Floyd, Kelly Cleays, Bill McWaters, nieces, nephews, and many great grandchildren.

Services to celebrate Judy’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Christ’s Church, 620 W. Vandament Ave., Yukon, OK 73099.
