Karin M. Wells

Karin M. Wells, age 84 of Yukon, OK passed from this earth on October 23, 2023. Born the daughter of Ernest-Albert Manzer and Gerda Vahl Manzer on June 8, 1939 in Berlin, Germany.

She married Donald Ray Lucas December 19, 1961 in Berlin Germany. They moved to Durham, OK in July of 1963 and started a dairy farm that they operated until Donald passed in 1979. On October 16, 1985 she married Bill Wells, and they were married 33 years before he passed away in 2019.

Karin also worked as a nurse's aide at Roger's Mills Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed being with her family and loved her grandkids. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cheating at card games. She also enjoyed going to the casino but was not very happy when she lost her money.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Donald Lucas; second husband Bill Wells, and her sister Barbel Schade.

She is survived by three siblings: Beran Manzer, Peter Manzer and Marianne Knorr all of Berlin, Germany; children, Mike (Rose) Lucas of Mountain View, Missouri, RayDon (Karen) Lucas of Marietta, Oklahoma, and Cindy (Donny) Lucas Teel of Sperry, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is her special friend Cheryl Hartley of Reydon, Oklahoma.

Special thanks to Dr. Wade McCoy for all the love and care he gave Karin over the last few months.

Graveside services will be Saturday, November 4th at 10:30am at White Rose Cemetery in Reydon, OK.
